Feeling like crap?
Notice what you are thinking about. Take a second to dive down and see what it is you are thinking about. How do you know it bothers you? Is it worth continuing to beat yourself up over? In other words, once it’s over, if you are still thinking about it then you are only doing it to yourself! In your own mind. On your own volition. Turn off the switch. Switch your brain! Best ways to switch the brain? Give it a good ole tap!😊 Tap between your eyes on your forehead like you just realized you “should have had a V8” and say “Let it go!” Keep saying it until you feel calmer and more in control of your thoughts. If you need more distraction - Sing. Take a cold shower. Dance. Run. Breathe deeply. Stretch. Pray. When you can start thinking about something else, do so… right away. Focus on those good feelings from that amazing memory, vacation, gift, achievement. Pick your favorite memories and use them like your life depends on it - because if you want to live the life of your dreams, it does!
